Bilsdale Remembered - old photographs of Bilsdale
At the meeting of the Bilsdale Local History Group in January 2021 it was agreed that a suitable way to celebrate the Group's 40th anniversary next year would be to publish a book of old photographs of places, people and events in Bilsdale. Each photograph will be accompanied by some background information
Over the years the Group has collected a number of photographs, but we would like to see more. If any local residents, or former residents have any interesting photograph, we would be delighted to see them. Please contact us and we will make arrangements for the photos to be scanned.
It is proposed that the book will cover a wide range of topics including:
Houses and farms Religious Buildings School Public Houses Farming and other occupations Village Hall Clubs Memorable events Bilsdale Hunt People
